TwiVox is built with the work of other people. This page lists the third-party software it includes, under which license, and where to get its source code.
The Mac app uses VLCKit and the iPhone and iPad app uses MobileVLCKit to open almost any audio and video format and stream. Both wrap libVLC 3.0, which in turn includes many open-source libraries (FFmpeg among them).
License: GNU Lesser General Public License, version 2.1 or later (LGPL-2.1+). TwiVox uses the official builds published by VideoLAN, unmodified, as separate frameworks inside the app, so you can replace them with another build of the same libraries.
